Kristen caption the post, “Happy 12th wedding anniversary to the man who once said to me, ‘I would bever kill you. A lot of men have killed their wives at a certain point. Even though I’m heavily incentivised to kill you, I never would'."
Although she clearly indicated it was meant to be an inside joke between the two, many netizens didn’t find her quip amusing.

A third redditor commented, "I totally get making this type of joke between yourselves as a couple if you both know what wavelength you're on. Making it publicaly when the amount of women and girls falling victim to femicide is increasing along with the normalisation of misogny is dangerous and gross."
