Diddy’s comeback plans revealed after long sentence behind bars

Sean Diddy Combs had thought about his immediate comeback to music before the sentence was revealed to be against his interests.

The 55-year-old disgraced music mogul had reportedly booked multiple back-to-back gigs ahead of getting imprisonment in his sentence.

During the sentence hearing on Friday, the prosecutors claimed that the Bad Boy Records founder had “booked speaking engagements in Miami for next week.”

They continued to criticise him for making such a big move before even hearing the sentence, calling it “the height of hubris.”

The prosecutor, Mary Slavick, went on to argue that Combs “doesn’t fully grapple with how his actions got him here,” claiming, “His respect for the law is just lip service.”

Although Diddy’s team has appealed for the rapper’s release, arguing that he has already “served over a year in one of the most notorious jails in America,” there has been no official concession in the official ruling.

The Last Night rapper was found guilty of two of his prostitution related charges and got 50 months or four years behind bars, as well as a hefty sum of $500,000 fine.
