Prince Harry rushes to make amends as new reconciliation hopes slip away

Prince Harry’s hopes appear to be dampened by the new tensions that he believes to have been stirred by Palace courtiers between him and his father, King Charles.

The Duke of Sussex who had just managed to make some progress towards a reconciliation with the King, but the coverage of the ‘private tea’ held at Clarence House last month has complicated matters.

Palace sources had sternly denied that the there was any new role created for Harry and the tone of the meeting had been formal. Whereas the Sussex camp had given glowing remarks about the reunion.

However, it was a statement from a source close to Harry which blamed the “men in grey suits” for making things worse that had escalated the rift once again. Although, a royal expert believes that Harry’s suspicions have been stemmed from his past which is why he had reacted in such a way.

“The strength of the statement from his team was a sign of just how frustrated Harry’s feeling and how he doesn’t know who he can trust,” Royal expert Duncan Larcombe told OK!.

“Harry has always struggled with the men in grey suits, and again that’s something borrowed from his mother.”

The expert noted that Harry “clearly” wants to increase his popularity in the UK and “build some bridges” but he did not expect to see the challenges that came with it.

“He might be worrying that it’s a hopeless cause, and the efforts to reconcile with his dad are ruined. It’s difficult for Harry,” he explained. “How do you reconcile with your father when you worry there are other people involved that you can’t trust?”

It doesn’t seem that there has been any form of direct correspondence between Harry and his father, otherwise that matter would have been resolved behind closed doors. It remains to be seem how things will change from here on.
