Nigel Farage Britain’s "Most Favorite" is on the track to become UK’s next prime minster, as the new polling shows the party is close to have enough support from public to form a majority government if election were held now.
Recently YouGov, conducted a seat-by seat, second largest public opinion polling before UK general elections.
According to Sky News, the international internet-based market research and opinion poll company, indicates that the Reforms Party in UK has extended its leads over the Labor Party, which is significantly increasing Nigel Farage’s chances of becoming UK’s next Prime minister in 2029.
YouGov’s new pre-election poll suggests that Reform’s Party would increase its MPs from five to 311 making it the largest party in the hung parliament and just 15 seats short of the 326 needed for outright majority,
The new polling result shows, it would be the biggest increase in seats as per the British Election history.
Moreover, the seat-by seat poll carried out by YouGov was based on 13000 sample survey conducted in last three weeks of September 2025 which suggest that if there was an election held tomorrow there would be a hung parliament with Reform Party winning 311 seats out of 650 seats.
In last polling survey conducted by YouGov in June 2025, the online polling company suggested that Reform would have 271 MPs.
This new Multi-level Regression and Post-stratification poll (MRP) highlights that Labor would loose 267 seats that it won in 2024, putting the party on just 144 MPs which is the downfall from 178 MPs predicted by YouGov in the last poll.
Moreover, British political scientist and pollster John Curtice also expressed his views in Times, issuing a stark warning indicating that “the Labor MPs will have every reason to fear being swept away in a tsunami of unpopularity that would be every bit as damaging as that which engulfed the Conservatives last year”.
