Meghan Markle highlights 'sweet moments' in a new photo

Meghan Markle just showcased how a picture can speak a thousand words as she paid tribute to her love story with Prince Harry.

On Wednesday, September 24, the Duchess of Sussex posted an adorable picture to her lifestyle brand As Ever’s official Instagram page. The snapshot featured the Duchess of Sussex with her dogs, Pula and Mia, in their backyard.

But the photo captured so many more hidden nods to her long journey from actress to Duchess to mom-of-two to entrepreneur.

In the picture, Meghan and her fur babies were looking towards a wall of trees, with two palm trees towering over the rest. The trees hold special meaning for Meghan and Harry. In a 2022 interview with The Cut, Meghan revealed that when she and Harry first saw their home, he pointed to the trunks joined at the base and said: "My love, it’s us."

The imagery of two palm trees has featured multiple times on As Ever's page, for instance, Meghan and Harry's seven-year anniversary post back in May.

Mia, the beagle featured in the picture, was adopted in 2022 after being rescued from a breeding and research lab. She became the couple’s third dog, following Pula and Meghan’s beloved rescue beagle Guy, who died in January 2025.

The post also tied back to Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, which uses a palm tree logo — a symbol of their Montecito home — alongside two hummingbirds, a nod to Harry’s memoir, Spare, and his story of a hummingbird he believed was a spiritual sign after the Queen’s passing.

“Crisp air, blue skies, and the sweetest moments,” Meghan aptly captioned the picture.
