Princess Kate and Melania Trump may have sparked the beginning of a lasting friendship, according to whispers from Buckingham Palace and the White House.
The pair stole the spotlight during the recent two day State Visit to Windsor, where President Donald Trump led the American delegation.
While the grand State Banquet provided plenty of formal glamour, it was their joint appearance the following morning that truly caught attention.
On September 18, Kate and Melania swapped tiaras for teamwork as they headed to Frogmore Gardens to spend time with Squirrels the youngest members of the Scouts.
Smiling and at ease, the Princess of Wales and the US First Lady shared a rare moment of warmth and camaraderie away from the pomp and ceremony, leaving insiders hinting that this could be the start of a powerful new bond across the Atlantic.
According to a Kensington Palace source, the pair’s chemistry was impossible to miss. “You could very much see how warm and friendly they were after spending time together,” they shared, noting how naturally the women chatted throughout the morning.
Another insider went further, telling Hello! Magazine,“It’s definitely the start of what looks set to be a very warm, long-term relationship between Kate and Melania.”
Side by side, they joined in helping the children sketch nature drawings and build bug hotels.
Chief Scout Dwayne Fields, who guided the day’s activities, witnessed the connection firsthand and he’s convinced it won’t be the last time the two women are seen together.
“From what I’ve seen, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were to go away and collaborate on something in the US,” he predicted, hinting at a potential royal White House partnership in the future.
