Prince Harry, who's in Britain for a four-day trip for engagements related to his charities and patronages,is said to be upset for leaving the home soil again.
A source claimed: "Harry seemed to struggle to hold back tears during an emotional meeting with pals in in Britain, a place of his birth, upbringing, and christening."
The Duke of Sussex feels a deep connection to the soil of England, where he's seriously homesick for the land that holds both his fondest and most difficult memories.
"It seems as he's not willing to leave UK again," they added.
Harry's latest solo visit to the homeland has fueled hope for possible reconciliation talks between him and his ailing father, King Charles, just weeks after their aides were photographed meeting up in London.
It comes just a few months after the Duke, who is estranged from his dad and brother, expressed his wish to reconcile with his relatives.
The 40-year-old royal is "pining" for his home country and has begun reaching out to his old UK friends more.
"Spike (his nickname among his old school friends) is seriously homesick. He’s started reaching out to us more and more,"One pal close to the Duke told the Standard.
The source added: "Whenever anyone goes to America they try to see him. It never seems to be with Meghan though. We think he is beginning to pine for home."
Another source added that it's not just Harry who is deeply affected by the ongoing feud. A royal courtier told the outlet: "Harry seems to have forgotten this but his father always absolutely adored him. He always called him ‘my darling boy’ and was so affectionate.
"People always seem to think that Harry inherited all his charm from his mother, but lots of the things he is good at, being attentive and always remembering people’s names, is something that comes directly from the King."
