Hashir’s Instagram feed exploded when he started sharing his stunning pics, leading to collaborations with top-notch fashion coordinators and photographers. But it was his iconic Levi’s ad that truly changed the game, launching him into the spotlight. Since then, he’s repped big names like Furor, Salt, Gul Ahmed, and Engine, and even starred in TVCs for Pepsi twice.

In the future, Hashir wants to start his journey as an actor with a notable project from an august platform. Keep an eye on this dude; he’s not just in it for the likes – he’s here to make waves!

Us: How did you foray into the industry?

Hashir Khan: I’ve always had the dream to slay in front of the camera as a model, actor, and musician. Growing up, I put in the hustle and levelled up my game, working on my look and style. I started dropping my pics on Instagram, and that totally opened the floodgates to collabs with dope designers and fashion peeps.

Us: Where have you studied?

HK: I’m currently hitting the books at Forman Christian College, diving into a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Gotta keep that hustle strong!

Us: What is most important to you: fame, money, or success?

HK: Honestly, I’m vibing with that success grind! Success is like the ultimate flex – once you hit your goals, fame and money come through like your ride-or-die crew. For me, it’s all about that feeling of accomplishment and living your best life!

Us: Who has been a pillar of support in your journey?

HK: My fam is my whole squad! I’ve got two sisters who are basically my hype crew, cheering me on like there’s no tomorrow. Plus, a few homies, who’ve been ride-or-die throughout this journey, have made all the difference.

Us: How do you maintain your energy levels?

HK: I’m obsessed with what I do, and that love is my secret sauce for energy. After those intense 12- or 15-hour shifts, I feel more pumped than drained! If there’s a chance to hit another shoot, I’m all in. When you’re stoked about your work, fatigue is just chilling in the backseat.

Us: Good looks and connections – are these really a game changer for a newbie?

HK: Let’s keep it real – good looks can definitely give you a boost in this industry. They help you get noticed and attract those sweet opportunities. But it’s on us to keep levelling up our game and shine bright with our talent too!

Us: What has been the biggest moment for you?

HK: One of the most epic highlights was when Levi’s picked me from amongst hundreds of fresh faces. It was like winning the jackpot and a total pinch-me moment to work for such a legendary brand. Plus, seeing myself on TV in that Pepsi ad with my billboards everywhere made me feel like, “Whoa, I made it!”

Us: How do your deal with self-doubt?

HK: I firmly believe that if you’re doubting yourself, the vibes around you will reflect that. So, I focus on trusting my skills and grinding hard. To kick self-doubt to the curb, I stay resilient and keep pushing for that next level!

Us: How do you see the role of social media?

HK: I owe a huge chunk of my success to social media! It’s like the ultimate key to unlocking fame and endless opportunities. I couldn’t have asked for a better platform to showcase my journey.

MY TEENAGE YEARS

My birthday is on

June 27th – save that date, fam!

The best and worst things about being a teenager were

The best was the liberty to have so many options to choose from, whereas for me the weird side was seeing myself compared to those who were older than me; it made it tough to appreciate my own glow-up and victories.

I was always listening to

I vibe with both my heart and mind, you know!! Balancing intuition and rational thoughts keeps me in check and thriving.

My favourite actors were

Major shoutout to Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise, and you know I have to rep Shah Rukh Khan – these legends inspire me with their versatility and talent.

My favourite singers were

I jam to Pink Floyd and Daniel Caesar, plus Ali Zafar’s earlier tracks really hit home for me. He was all about creativity and fire experimentation.

My favourite superhero was

Batman all the way! He’s a total legend – strong, smart, and super relatable!

My favourite movie was

Hands down, my all-time fave is Fight Club. It’s a total classic that resonates with my soul, and I’ve often dreamt of channelling one of those iconic characters.

The key things in my closet were

Since I’ve always been on my artistic grind, my closet is a treasure trove of creativity – think camera, phone, earbuds, and even a toy microphone for some fun creativity!

What used to hurt me the most was

It stung when I had the dream to chase after something but got hit with discouragement or a lack of support. It sucks when roadblocks pop up on your path to greatness.

I wish I had known then that

I wish I’d realized that learning is all about the journey and those lessons come from experience. Mistakes are the stepping stones that shape us.

Relationship with my family was

My fam is straight-up my ultimate support system! As the only bro to my two sisters, I’m showered with love and encouragement every step of the way.

My favourite and least favourite subjects were

English was totally my jam – I lived for those classes! But math? Nah, not my vibe at all!

I couldn’t stand

I can’t deal with double standards. Authenticity is my jam, and I can’t vibe with fake people.

My favourite sport was

Cricket is my jam! Love playing it and catching all the matches – it’s a whole mood!
