Prince William shifts focus on crucial mission with new Palace task

Prince William is appears to be focussing his energies on things that are important to him as he gave an important message.

The Prince of Wales, who previously worked as an air ambulance pilot between March 2015 and July 2017, raised awareness about a mission that he is passionate about and continues to shed light on it even during his own reign.

Kensington Palace on Tuesday shared a statement to mark Air Ambulance Week and how team effort will make a lifesaving difference.

“Today is Emergency Services Day – #999Day – and we’re proud to recognise the vital role air ambulance charities play as part of the UK’s emergency response,” a message from Air Ambulances UK read.

“From major trauma to critical medical emergencies, air ambulance crews bring hospital-level care directly to patients – wherever they are,” they continued.

“But they never work alone. Ambulance teams, fire and rescue services, police, and other responders work seamlessly together to give patients the best possible chance of survival.”

The cause is also a nod to William’s past, which will play a major role in his future position as the next British monarch.

King Charles’s heir flew Helicopter Emergency Medical Service missions and after completing an initial period job-specific training involving simulator, aircraft and in-flight skills training, began piloting missions for East Anglian Air Ambulance in July 2015.

The update comes as Prince William and Prince Harry feud continues. The Duke of Sussex is currently in UK but there appears to be no sign of the warring siblings to reunite.
