'One Battle After Another' is coming out in theatres on September 26

Titanic star Leonard DiCaprio has made a shocking statement, but fans should not be worried about it.

The 50-year-old Hollywood star is currently busy promoting his upcoming adventure comedy movie, One Battle After Another.

He recently appeared at the Chinese Theatre for the premiere of the new film, where his addressed the next chapter of his life.

The Revenant star disclosed what the “next phase” looks like for him. Leonardo do feel that it’s time for him to slow down now in terms of work.

He admitted, “I’m slowing down a bit.” However, his fans must not get worried about his comment as he has not yet made any statement about quitting his profession.

Rather, the American actor and producer has opened that he still finds it hard to resist compelling scripts.

“When these opportunities come up, I mean, I can’t say no,” DiCaprio told PEOPLE.

For the Inception actor, Awards and box office mean nothing to him anymore, rather, it’s the piece of art that remains in discussion forever is something that means the most to him.

In a statement, he added, “Awards can come and go.”

“Accolades, box office can come and go, but those pieces of art, that you still talk about and still think about and still question. Those are the films that we strive for as an actor.”

Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, the upcoming action thriller is set to open in theatres on September 26. It also features Sean Penn, Regina Hall, Chase Infiniti and Teyana Taylor.
