Royal Family marks Queen's anniversary with Edward in Leicester and Harry in Windsor

Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh's visit to Leicester holds special importance on the third anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's passing.

The youngest child of the late monarch and Prince Philip visited several places to pay tribute and celebrate Her late Majesty, as Buckingham Palace marked her third death anniversary today.

The Royal Family's official account posted a number of snaps highlighting different moments of Edward's engagements.

In the caption, it was shared that the Duke of Edinburgh first stopped by the Brachytherapy Department at Leicester Royal Infirmary and their new state of-the art- Thornton Suite.

This facility will support the treatment of gynaecological cancers. He also visited the Jewy Wall Museum, 'where technology brings to life one of the largest surviving Roman structures in Britain.'

The youngest brother of King Charles also undertook engagements at 'Leicester Cathedral' and the Tomb of King Richard III.

At the same time, the Prince and Princess of Wales have visited the Women's Institute (WI) to honour the late Queen, who was a member of the (WI) for eight decades.

Interestingly, Edward's nephew, Prince Harry, has also landed in the UK on a four-day trip filled with official engagements.

He paid respects to his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, by visiting her grave at St George's Chapel, at Windsor Castle.

The Duke of Sussex was photographed in all-black outfit, jetting off from California to attend Well Child Awards.
