DUBAI: Two teams will qualify for next year’s ICC Women’s World Cup qualifier in events to be played in different parts of the world this month.

The Europe qualifier in the English county of Essex from July 12-15 will feature the Netherlands and Scotland, while the East Asia Pacific qualifier in Samoa from July 15-23 will see Samoa, Papua New Guinea and Japan fight it out on a double round-robin format.

The winners of these two events will join eight other teams in the ICC Women’s World Cup qualifier in February 2017, from which four teams will advance to the ICC Women’s World Cup 2017 to be held in England from June 26 to July 23.
