Queen Camilla's sudden appearance eclipses Kate Middleton event

Queen Camilla stole the spotlight with a unexpected appearance, upstaging Princess Kate's highly anticipated event on Thursday, September 4.

The 78-year-old's sudden appearance drew attention away from Prince Kate's moment, putting the royal family's dynamics under the microscope again.

Camilla seemingly teased Princess Kate, who ended her almost tow month hiatus with visit to the Natural History Museum in London alongside her husband Prince William.

The Queen enjoyed fun-filled moments with giggling school children, cramming into a tiny telephone box with a group of little angels.

Buckingham Palace shared the delightful video of the Queen on the royal family's official Instagram account with a meaningful message.

The Palace wrote along with the clip: "Come rain or shine - the new Artplay Pavilion and Sculpture Garden at Dulwich Picture Gallery is now open!"

It added: "This morning, The Queen toured the site to see how the green spaces have been transformed to create fun art-based learning experiences for young children."

The statement concluded: "Open since 1811, Dulwich Picture Gallery was the world’s first purpose built public art gallery - dedicated to sharing one of the greatest art collections in the world."

King Charles' wife braved the gloomy weather in a chic black and white frock as she unveiled the new Artplay Pavilion and Sculpture Garden.

On the other hand, Princess Kate also showcased her elegance under the umbrella while enjoying the rain with school children during her first outing in seven weeks.

The Prince and Princess of Wales shared the pictures and details of their much-awaited outing on their official Instagram account on the same day.
