Prince Harry gave a key order to his team ahead of his much-awaited trip to the UK, which might also turn into a reunion with King Charles.
For the unversed, the Duke of Sussex is expected to attend the annual WellChild Awards on September 8. Notably, the former working royal's visit to his hometown is taking place after the monarch welcomed his son's plea for peace talks.
An insider told Closer Magazine that Harry asked his aides to "reach out" to Buckingham Palace in order to organise a meeting behind closed doors with King Charles, Prince William and Princess Catherine.
"Harry’s team are pushing for an answer, but Palace insiders stress that diaries are “tight” due to the family’s gathering at Balmoral, and there is nervousness about what Harry might expect," shared the source.
The report said, "There’s no appetite for confrontation. But equally, they know Harry is determined – and that makes things tricky."
According to the source, the Palace officials are in quite a difficult spot as both parties, the Sussexes and the royals, have "conditions." It has been said that they feel "like trying to organise a political summit."
It is important to mention that Harry especially set eyes on a conversation with Princess Kate as he "has always felt [she] was a bridge between him and William."
"If he can get her [the future Queen] on side, he feels the rest will follow," an insider said.
However, there is no news of Meghan Markle joining her husband on the mission to make peace with the royals.
