A pet parrot from China’s Henan province has earned a Guinness World Record for the fastest time to identify 10 colors.
Xiaogui, Qin Feng’s pet parrot, set a record for fastest color identification, sorting 10 colored straw balls into matching bins in 33.5 seconds.
The task involved Xiaogui sorting out colored balls and placing them in their matching boxes.
Interestingly, when he initially put a dark pink ball in the light pink box, he swiftly corrected the mistake, showcasing his keen awareness and impressing the judges.
Feng adopted the parrot when it was just a baby in 2020. Xiaogui’s training began when Feng noticed the parrot’s fondness for colored balls.
Building on Xiaogui’s natural curiosity, Feng taught him to recognize and sort colors, turning a fun activity into an impressive ability.
