GFS Builders and Developers celebrated Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day with a music concert at its head office on Wednesday. The event was attended by a large number of residents, members and prospective clients.
The event, organised under the guidance of GFS CEO Irfan Wahid, Managing Director Mansoor Wahid and Sales and Marketing Director Mohsin Wahid, featured popular musical bands Jeem Se Jaffer and Khwaja Sami, who energised the audience with spirited performances of national songs.
A highlight of the evening was the rendition of the ISPR-released patriotic anthem Yeh Wada Hai Ae Arz-e-Watan, originally sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, which received loud applause from attendees. Young men and women sang along with the performers, creating a chorus of voices in celebration of the national spirit.
Families turned out in large numbers, encouraged by the organisers’ emphasis on a secure and comfortable environment. The arrangements, made on the special instructions of Mr Wahid, ensured a peaceful atmosphere throughout the programme.
Earlier, presiding over a meeting on the event’s preparations, the GFS CEO said the company was committed to maintaining the same quality and distinctiveness in its public events as in its projects, treating customers as part of the family. The evening concluded with a lavish high tea for the guests.
