Prince William, Harry's feud threatens Princess Diana's legacy

Prince William and Prince Harry's feud raised concerns among royal fans as the two royal brothers causing irreparable damage to the enduring legacy of their late mother Princess Diana.

The late Princess' aide mourned the rift between William and Harry, saying that he’s ‘glad’ she isn’t here to see her darlings' fight.

A former royal chef who worked closely with the People's Princess expressed his concerns on the alarming situation between the two Princes.

Darren McGrady, who spent more than a decade cooking for the royal family at Kensington Palace, Windsor Castle and Balmoral, reflected on the brothers’ fractured relationship in a video shared on his YouTube channel.

“I cooked for them as young boys, I held Prince Harry as a baby while Princess Diana was eating cereals in the kitchen at Windsor Castle and watched them grow up,” he said.

In his emotional statement, the royal aide said: “They literally were blood brothers. But now I don’t know what’s going on. I’m really glad Princess Di’s not here to see it.”

He added: “I think there’s too much water under the bridge now, and I think that relationship’s gone sadly.”

McGrady, who now lives in Texas, recalled fond memories of the boys growing up, including playful moments in the kitchen.

“They used to play hide and seek in the kitchen. I remember one Christmas they had water guns and got the whole staff — it was mayhem,” he said.

William and Harry’s relationship has been increasingly strained since the Sussexes stepped back from royal duties in 2020. In his 2023 memoir Spare, the Duke confirmed their unexpected clash and even alleged a physical altercation took place.

Someroyal fans and historians worry that Harry and William's feud is testing the legacy of Diana, who was known for her commitment to peace and the welfare of others.

However, the sudden death of the People's Princess in her prime devastated Harry and William, stripping them of their early joys as the Duke was just 12 and William was 15.
