Princess Charlotte received a special treat from Papa Prince William despite the backlash.
For the unversed, the Prince of Wales took his only daughter to watch the nail-biting football game between England's Lionesses and Spain at Women's Euro 2025.
The father-daughter duo was captured having the best time of their lives during their rare joint public appearance.
Following England's women team major win, William and Princess Kate gave a golden opportunity to Charlotte, who shared a joint message with his father to celebrate the Lionesses.
They wrote, "What a game! Lionesses, you are the champions of Europe, and we couldn’t be prouder of the whole team. Enjoy this moment, England."
However, a few fans expressed their dismay over William's decision to bring Charlotte only to the football game.
They claimed that the future King doesn't take women's football 'seriously' like men's.
HELLO!'s royal editor Emily Nash spoke about William and Charlotte's bonding at the Euros final.
Revealing the real reason behind William fulfilling her daughter's wish, the royal expert said, "We've seen William taking George to plenty of football matches over the past couple of years, so it's only fair that Charlotte gets her turn too."
"And she's shown public support for the Lionesses in the past, so it was the perfect event to take her to," Emily added.
