Cases of forced conversions appear to be rising. A recent case in Shahdadpur underscores a disturbing trend where young boys and girls from minority groups are pressured into converting faiths.
The right to religious freedom is enshrined in our constitution, and no one should be able to coerce or pressure others into changing their faith. I call upon the appropriate authorities to act swiftly to avert such occurrences and to protect minority communities.
