PESHAWAR: Opposition’s consultations for political change in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) have entered final stage.

According to sources, an informal political consultation was held between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi and Adviser to the Prime Minister Pervez Khattak.

Sources said that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman also joined the consultation. The meeting took place at Pervaiz Khattak’s residence. Amir Muqam also met Faisal Karim Kundi at the Governor’s House on Sunday on this issue.

Sources said it was decided to hold a large meeting of opposition members of the assembly at the Governor House, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as soon as possible. The opposition leadership in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has taken a principled decision to contest the Senate elections together.
