King Charles, Queen Camilla bid farewell to President Macron in new message

King Charles and Queen Camilla shared a sweet message as the State Visit of the President of France comes to an end.

On July 9, Buckingham Palace dropped delightful photos, showcasing the monarch and his wife bidding farewell to Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron.

The royal couple wrote in French, which reads in English as "goodbye until next time."

The King's spokesperson shared, "This morning, The King and Queen bid farewell to President Macron and Mrs. Macron."

For the unversed, Mr and Mrs Macron received a warm welcome from the royal family.

Prince William and Princess Kate welcomed the couple at the airport. Later, they all joined King for a formal ceremonial welcome at the Royal Dais in Windsor.

On the same day, the senior royals hosted a glitzy State Banquet for the President and his wife in Windsor Castle.

During a keynote speech at a significant gathering, King Charles talked about the shared values between the UK and France, urging the two nations to strengthen their relationship.
