Meghan Markle is cheers-ing to her lifestyle brand As Ever’s exciting new product launch on a day that also happens to carry immense significance for her royal in-laws.
The Duchess of Sussex is just hours away from launching the “Napa Valley Rosé” wine — her first-ever alcoholic beverage — on Tuesday, July 1st.
The date also marks what would have been her late mother-in-law Princess Diana’s 64th birthday, and the day that the royal family began its annual Royal Week, also known as “Holyrood Week.”
It also happens the day that Meghan met Prince Harry, who she’s now been married to for seven years and shares two kids with.
“Just one more sleep ‘til the pour,” she wrote in a post on As Ever’s official Instagram page on June 30.
The accompanying image showed the sleek wine bottle sitting in a bucket of ice, with Meghan and her black labrador Pula in the blurred background, strolling in the garden of their Montecito home in US, California.
“Rosé joins the party tomorrow. Cheers!” she added in the caption.
Meghan first announced her rosé last week as part of As Ever’s now-sold-out summer drop on June 23. She describes it as a “bespoke brand” consisting of “soft notes of stone fruit, gentle minerality and a lasting finish.”
Meanwhile, King Charles arrived in Scotland on Tuesday to officially begin this year’s Royal Week, an annual tour meant to celebrate Scottish culture and achievements.
He attended the traditional Ceremony of the Keys where the sovereign symbolically receives the keys to Edinburgh to mark his arrival.
