Prince William feels 'deserted' by Prince Harry's departure

Prince William is reportedly set to rely on Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie for support in his future reign, following Prince Harry's departure from royal duties in 2020.

According to royal sources, Harry's absence has left a significant gap in William's life, both personally and practically.

"Harry left a large gap in William's world, not just personally but practically," a royal insider told Us Weekly.

"The whole idea was for Harry to work hand-in-hand with William and to divide and conquer during William's monarchy." The source added that William feels deserted by his brother, but would never express it publicly.

The contrast between William and Harry's public appearances has been highlighted by recent events. While William visited Wattisham Air Base in Suffolk on royal duties, Harry and Meghan Markle shared a viral video of themselves twerking in a hospital room to celebrate their daughter Lilibet's fourth birthday.

The royal insider noted that Harry and Meghan are highlighting a life of fun and lightness, while William's life is dominated by duty and public service. "They are worlds apart," the source said.

Harry and Meghan have established their life in America with their two children, and their public persona now centers on personal moments and family celebrations.

Meanwhile, William has been cementing his connection to the armed forces as he prepares for his future role as monarch.

He was recently seen visiting the Suffolk base in a reconnaissance Wildcat helicopter, where he presented a King's Commendation for Valuable Service award and toured the facilities.
