King Charles was joined by some high-profile guests at the Buckingham Palace as he marked an important milestone for his charity.
The monarch was celebrating the 10th anniversary of the King’s Trust with a star-studded reception which included A-lister couple, George and Amal Clooney.
Actors Dame Joanna Lumley and Joseph Fiennes, cosmetics guru Charlotte Tilbury, musicians the Sugababes and presenters Declan Donnelly, Fearne Cotton and Kate Garraway were also in attendance at the royal event.
The office of the monarch issued a message to honour the guests including the Hollywood couple in a video footage of highlights.
“This afternoon, The King hosted a special reception at Buckingham Palace for the winners of The King’s Trust Awards 2025,” the caption read. “Alongside the KingsTrust’s fantastic supporters and ambassadors, His Majesty met award winners in both the UK and Global categories.”
It continued, “The King’s Trust Awards recognise young people who have improved their own chances in life and had a positive impact on their local community.”
The message concluded with, “Congratulations to all the worthy winners - as well as the KingsTrustInternational, who are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year!”
The post appears to be a special nod to the Clooneys, as the thumbnail of the video highlighted their still from the footage.
This is not the first time the couple, who are also friends with Prince Harry and Meghan’s friends, met with King Charles. They were also invited to the royal wedding of the Sussexes in May 2018.
At the time, a source had revealed that George had “hopped behind the bar and was mixing drinks for guests”.
