Prince William is stressing the importance of community now more than ever.
During a panel discussion at the inaugural event of London Climate Action Week, the Prince of Wales called for collective responsibility and collaboration to deal with the climate crisis.
“It takes a village to raise a family,” said William, who is dad to his and Princess Kate’s three kids: Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7.
He unravelled the analogy as he continued, “If you take that into the concept of a planet, it takes all of us to raise that planet.”
The remark comes amid ongoing tensions with his younger brother Prince Harry and speculation over the future of the Duke’s children, who he shares with Meghan Markle.
A recent report by The Times claimed that the reason the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have kept their “HRH” titles despite stepping down as working royals in 2020, is that they want to leave the door open for their kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to return to the royal fold.
However, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams stressed that the rift lies between the brothers — not with the children.
