The hostels at Ayub Medical College (AMC) are in a terrible state – crumbling walls, broken sanitation and overcrowded rooms plague students daily. These conditions are unacceptable for an institution training Pakistan’s future doctors.
The KP government must act now: emergency funds should be released for reconstruction, maintenance systems overhauled and transparency ensured in spending. The government and college administration must prioritise this crisis before it further harms student welfare.
