ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and China have reiterated their commitment to deepening their “All-weather strategic cooperative partnership” during high-level discussions on the sidelines of the 6th China-South Asia Cooperation Forum in Kunming, China.
The engagement also marked a new chapter in regional diplomacy with the inaugural Bangladesh-China-Pakistan trilateral vice foreign minister/foreign secretary meeting. Additional Secretary (Asia-Pacific) of Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Imran Ahmed Siddiqui met Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong, where the two sides held an in-depth exchange on regional and global developments.
They reaffirmed the strength of bilateral ties and underscored the need for enhanced strategic communication in navigating complex challenges and tapping shared opportunities for regional peace and prosperity.
