Harry and Meghan last took part in the monarch's official birthday celebrations in 2019

The Royal Family sent 'significant message' to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in the past ahead of Trooping the Colour, which explains their absence from the Buckingham Palace balcony in recent years, according to a royal expert.

It is important to mention that Harry and Meghan last took part in the monarch's official birthday celebrations in 2019, appearing on the Buckingham Palace balcony with other seniors just a month after the birth of their son, Archie.

When the historic event returned in 2022, Harry and Meghan were noticeably absent from the balcony appearance.

The following year, Prince Harry revealed that 'for the first time in his life,' he was not invited to Trooping the Colour, as only senior working royals were included in the Palace lineup.

Speaking in a 2023 television appearance, the Daily Mail's Richard Eden stated:

'This is the first year of his life that Harry has not been invited at all'

According to royal commentator, the family had initially wanted to show unity even after the couple's move to America and hoped they would continue to attend key royal events.

As Richard Eden clarified: 'When Harry and Meghan quit royal duties, I think officials were very keen to stress that they would still be invited to occasions such as Trooping the Colour so the fact they have not been invited is very significant.'

Interestingly, the 2025 Trooping the Colour just hours away, royal fans and experts widely believe that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will once again be absent from this year's festivities.
