The power supply, as usual, remained suspended in many areas throughout the night and even for some hours in the daytime during Eidul Azha, despite the intense heat. The power outages added to the miseries of the people, particularly those residing in the rural areas. The prime minister must take notice of the long and unscheduled power breakdowns and take action against those who are responsible for the public embarrassment on this auspicious occasion.
