Eid is a time of joy, unity and deep emotional connection. But, sadly, many students across the country are spending this Eid away from their homes, alone in hostels or distant cities, far from the comfort of their families. For students living away from home due to their education, Eid often becomes a bittersweet occasion. While the world around them celebrates, they quietly miss the familiar smiles, shared meals and cherished traditions.
This emotional distance is harder than any academic challenge. No exam or assignment weighs as heavily on the heart as the silence of an Eid spent away from home. These young individuals, full of dreams and responsibilities, make sacrifices every day and being away during such an important festival is one of the hardest. As a society, we should acknowledge their silent strength and offer support where we can.
