Although the country has proven that it is more than capable of dealing with unprovoked and unjustified Indian aggression, what happened in May will probably not be the last team we see such actions from India. The broader conflict is far from over and Pakistan needs to remain cautious of its eastern neighbours bellicose posture. Aside from military preparedness, we must also remain diplomatically engaged and take full advantage of any third-party mediation, be it by the US or any other actor.
