The government is making a big push to transition the country towards a cashless economy. Now, some reports are claiming that all fuel stations will be required to offer digital payment modes. The main problem facing the drive towards going cashless is that innumerable people possess neither a credit card nor a debit card. The government must think about how to integrate these people into a cashless economy. Getting a debit or card currently requires paying a yearly fee, which many cannot afford.
