Prince William is keeping steadfast on his core values despite being aware of the significant responsibility on his shoulders as the future of the monarchy.
The Prince of Wales has been taking an active role in significant royal duties as his cancer-stricken father, King Charles, provides more opportunities to take on key missions.
Despite the weekly treatment, Charles continues to make a prominent presence in his position as the British King and a global leader. Even though, Charles has taken a different approach to the monarchy, William had made some “radical” plans to implement once he takes the throne.
The future king, who was recently granted the Order of the Bath by his father, has decided that despite his many “traditional titles” he is “setting out to do things differently,” according to Sky News's royal correspondent Rhiannon Mills.
She called the prince the “quiet disruptor” as he is going to break away from the approach of his predecessors.
“There is family to consider, in a way that past generations just haven’t,” the journalist said of William and Kate Middleton. “Their working diaries are now arranged around their children. They've made no secret of that.”
Moreover, she noted that while this would mean criticism over few engagements, William is not deterred by it.
In fact, the journalist claimed that the public feels William is “setting a good example by putting family first”.
