Railways to run five special Eid trains

First special train will depart from Karachi on June 2 at 1:00 PM, arriving in Lahore at 10:00 AM

RAWALPINDI: On the PM’s instructions, Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi has announced that five special Eid trains will run from various cities, including the provincial capital, to manage rush during Eidul Azha. The first special train will depart from Karachi Cantt Railway Station on June 2 at 1:00 PM, arriving in Lahore at 10:00 AM the following day via Multan and Sahiwal. The second train is scheduled to leave Quetta for Peshawar on June 3 at 10:00 AM, reaching Peshawar Cantt at 10:30 PM the next day, also via Multan and Sahiwal. The third train will depart from Lahore to Karachi on June 3 at 5:00 PM, arriving at Karachi Cantt Station on the main line at 2:00 PM the next day. The fourth train will leave Karachi Cantt for Rawalpindi on June 3 at 7:30 PM, reaching Rawalpindi at 1:15 PM on the third day via Shorkot, Faisalabad, and Lala Musa. Finally, the fifth Eid special train will depart from Karachi Cantt for Lahore on June 4 at 7:30 PM, arriving in Lahore at 5:30 PM the following day via Multan and Faisalabad.
