LEEDS: Yorkshire reached 57 without losing a wicket in their second innings on Tuesday after Pakistan A had gained 111 runs lead on the third day of their four-day match here at Headingley.
E Callis was not out on 30 which he scored off 62 balls, hitting four fours. AZ Lees was unbeaten on 17 off 51 balls. He struck three boundaries.
Yorkshire trail Pakistan A by 54 runs.
Earlier, Pakistan A resumed their first innings from 341 for eight and lost the remaining wickets for 16 runs. Wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Hasan failed to complete his century, getting out for 98. He struck 18 fours in his 140-ball knock. Asghar got out for 15. J Shaw and Azeem Rafiq were the successful bowlers for Yorkshire with three wickets each.
Yorkshire had made 246 in their first innings. Pakistan A’s Mir Hamza and Hasan Ali were the pick of the bowlers with four and three wickets, respectively.
