KARACHI: Pakistan’s air operations improved further on Sunday after a ceasefire between Pakistan and India.
Ten foreign airlines also resumed flights to Pakistan, while efforts are underway to normalize Haj flights. According to aviation sources, Fly Dubai had cancelled all its flights to Pakistan for Sunday, but suddenly restored the cancelled flights and operated flights to Karachi, Faisalabad, Quetta and Multan. After that Emirates, Etihad, Ethiopian, Air Arabia, Gulf, Afghan, Qatar, Turkish and FlyNaz also started flights to Pakistan. For Monday, 22 flights from Islamabad, 9 from Lahore, 15 from Karachi, 4 from Peshawar, 2 from Sialkot and 1 from Faisalabad have been cancelled.
In addition, the national airline has shifted 3 flights from Sialkot Airport to Sharjah, Dammam and Kuwait to Lahore due to operational reasons.
