I am writing to share my concern about how the India-Pakistan clashes have affected university students, especially during exam time. The situation caused fear, confusion and uncertainty in many parts of the country. Many students were preparing for their final exams but, due to the conflict, several universities had to cancel or postpone them. In some areas, curfews and safety concerns made it hard for students to even reach their exam centres.
Power cuts and internet issues also disturbed study schedules. For those living away from home, the fear for their family’s safety made it even harder to focus. We request the government and university authorities to understand the mental stress students had to go through. Clear updates, rescheduling of exams and mental support can help them a lot in these tough times.
