Hamza wins ASF Award for outstanding performance

KARACHI: Pakistan’s Hamza Khan won Hassan Musa Award for outstanding performance in junior category by Asian Squash Federation.

The ASF announced annual ASF Awards for 2024 which were proposed by the ASF’s Selection Panel and endorsed by the Management Committee of ASF. In the players’ category, Malaysia’s Ng Eain Yow won Dato Alex Lee Award and the best men’s team award was won by Malaysia’s men’s team for its performance in the 22nd Asian Team Championships.

The ASF Development Award was given to men’s team of Hong Kong, China for its performance in the 22nd Asian Team Championships. In the coaches’ category, Ajaz Azmat from Malaysia was declared ASF Coach of the Year and ASF Junior Coach of the Year award was given to Dick Leung from Hong Kong, China.

The ASF Development Coach of the Year was given to Koh Yoke Keet from Singapore while ASF Coaches Certificates of Recognition were given to Afiq Haiqal Shukor (Malaysia), Elise Ng (Hong Kong, China), Joey Chan (Hong Kong, China), Lim Kai Zhen (Malaysia), Max Lee (Hong Kong, China), Ryan Neville Pasqual (Malaysia), and Wee Wern Low (Philippines).
