The Human Development Index (HDI), 2025 places Pakistan in the ‘low’ human development category, with a HDI value of 0.544. It is ranked 168 out of 193 countries in terms of human development, making it one of the least developed countries in the world. Now, we might be about to enter a period of war, which only dampens our prospects on this front.
