Pakistanis are as shocked as the rest of the world about the attack in Pahalgam. Most people believe that the attack is a result of the failure of the Indian security forces and intelligence agencies. But, instead of investigating the tragedy and its own shortcomings, the Indians have started blaming Pakistan for the attack and have suspended the Indus Waters Treaty. These allegations may help India’s security agencies avoid accountability, but it may severely damage their diplomatic relations and standing.
