SHANGLA: Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan, and SAFRON, Amir Muqam on Saturday condemned India’s baseless allegations against Pakistan.
“India has initiated a campaign of accusations without evidence, which is highly regrettable. We desire peace, but if war is imposed, the entire nation will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Pakistan Army and defeat the enemy,” he told a gathering after administering oath to the office-bearers of District Bar Association Shangla
Sharing his recent experience of spending three to four days along the Line of Control (LoC) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Muqam highlighted the deep patriotism of the Kashmiri people and their unwavering love for Pakistan and its armed forces. “This spirit is undefeatable,” he said, adding that it’s a key difference between Pakistan and India.
Amir Muqam praised the sacrifices made by the people of Shangla in the fight against terrorism, calling it a historic contribution to national security. “Whenever the sovereignty of Pakistan is at stake, the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially Shangla, will be at the forefront,” he stated.
He congratulated the newly elected members of the Bar Association and expressed hope that the new leadership would work sincerely for the welfare of the legal community. He also announced a special grant for the Bar and expressed gratitude for being made an honorary member of the association.
The minister paid tribute to the late Mutawwkil Khan, who recently lost his life in a traffic accident.
