According to some reports, the visiting faculty members of Quaid-e-Azam University have been without pay for the last two years. The excuse given by the university for this state of affairs is that they are short of funds. The problem is just as common as the refrain among our universities. How can so many universities be short of funds when they are charging such hefty fees?
