Pakistan is facing about $29 billion in economic losses due to limited water storage capacity, according to some estimates. The water authorities have been warning the government of this problem for years but little has been done to solve it.
We must start seeing the water availability issue as a national challenge rather a dispute between the federal government and provinces.
