After last week’s attack in Pahalgam, India has unilaterally abrogated the Indus Waters Treaty. The Modi government has always adopted a hostile and discriminatory posture towards Pakistan and Muslims in general.
The IWT abrogation is just the latest escalation in this long-established trend. International organisations, including the UN, need to take note of India’s aggressive and illegal behaviour and punish it accordingly.
