LAHORE: Pakistan’s rising boxing star Usman Wazeer continued his dominant run in professional boxing with a resounding first-round knockout victory over India’s Eswaran Sahita Durthy at the World Siam Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The 25-year-old extended his unbeaten record to an impressive 16-0, with 11 of those wins coming by knockout.

A dazzling performance known as the ‘Asian Boy,’ Usman wasted no time asserting his dominance in the ring, flooring Eswaran twice within the opening round. The fight lasted just 1 minute and 41 seconds before the referee stepped in to stop the contest, awarding Usman the victory via technical knockout (TKO).

This victory adds another chapter to Usman’s growing legacy. Just last September, he had also made headlines in Bangkok by knocking out another Indian boxer, Thehlak Selvam, in the first round of the World Youth Boxing Championship, delivering a TKO in merely 65 seconds.

Ahead of the fight, Usman dedicated his performance to his country, urging fans to pray for his success. “Just like before, I will dedicate this win in the international ranking fight to Pakistan. I request the entire nation to pray for my victory,” Usman shared.
