7 Customs, IRS officials to be promoted to BS-22

ISLAMABAD: The Establishment Division has decided to convene a meeting of the High-Power Selection Board soon to promote Grade 21 officers of the Inland Revenue Service and Pakistan Customs Service to Grade 22.

According to sources, seven FBR officers will be approved for promotion to Grade 22.

The Establishment Division has sent a letter to the FBR chairman and Revenue Division Secretary Rashid Mahmood Langrial, directing that a working paper of grade 21 officers of the Inland Revenue Service and Pakistan Customs Service be prepared and sent to it, which includes the names of officers eligible for promotion.

Under the policy, at least two years of service in Grade 21 is mandatory for promotion to Grade 22. According to sources, four officers of Inland Revenue Service and three of Customs Service will be promoted.
