Indian team arrives in Lahore for Guru Nanak Kabaddi Cup

LAHORE: The three-nation Baba Guru Nanak International Kabaddi Cup is set to commence on Wednesday here at the WAPDA Sports Complex. Kabaddi teams from Pakistan, India and Iran are participating in event.

For this event the Indian Tigers kabaddi team, representing the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), arrived in Lahore on Tuesday via the Wagah Border where they were greeted warmly by officials from the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation.

The prestigious tournament aims to foster cross-border camaraderie and celebrate the shared cultural heritage of South Asia. The arrival of the Iranian team a day earlier has further set the stage for an exciting event that promises to attract kabaddi enthusiasts from across the country.

According to tournament organizers, the Baba Guru Nanak International Kabaddi Cup symbolises the spirit of unity and harmony, offering fans the rare opportunity to witness kabaddi teams from these three nations compete in an arena of strength, skill, and tradition.
