ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Economic Affairs told the National Assembly on Wednesday that the International Conference on Climate Resilient Pakistan was held on 9th January, 2023 in Geneva, Switzerland, in which the development partners/friends of Pakistan pledged an amount of $10,987.01 million for the post floods climate resilient recovery, reconstruction and rehabilitation the devastating floods during 2022.
Giving the details in written reply to the question of Zartaj Gul during the Question-Hour in the National Assembly, the Ministry of Economic Affairs said the Project/Program Financing Total Pledges was of $6.38 billion and out of it disbursed against Project/Program was $251.03 million (as of December 2024).
The financing: Total Pledges $4.6 billion and out of it $519,25 million disbursed (as of December 2024), while cash deposited in PMFRF was $2.1 million.
The Ministry of Economic Affairs gave the donor details: Bilateral-Countries (17): Australia, France, European Union, South Korea, USA, United Kingdom, Denmark, Italy, Germany, Japan, Norway, Canada, China, KSA, Vietnam, Azerbaijan, Qatar while Multilateral IFIs (04): ADB, AIIB, IsDB, WB.
