I do not understand why our prime minister is so keen to establish a new university with the money recovered from the UK’s National Crime Agency. With over 25 million children out-of-school and a dysfunctional primary education system, where are the students for more universities going to come from?
There is also the lack of access to basic health and rampant poverty among millions of children in Pakistan to be considered. I think this money would be better spent fixing the grassroots problems in our education system than simply building more universities on top of a broken foundation.
