SLAMABAD: Wapda, Punjab, and KPK registered easy wins in the 54th National Volleyball Championship that sprang into action at POF Gymnasium in Wah Friday.
The championship kicked off with Punjab facing Balochistan, where Punjab dominated the match with a straight 3-0 victory, securing set points of 25-13, 25-16, 25-17. Wapda demonstrated superior gameplay against AJK, claiming another 3-0 win with set scores of 25-13, 25-12, 25-13.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) blanked Gilgit-Baltistan (GB). KP controlled the game entirely, winning comfortably 3-0 with scores of 25-09, 25-09, 25-13. The fourth and most anticipated match of the day was also the official opening match, featuring Pakistan Air Force (PAF) against Pakistan Under-19. PAF emerged victorious with a 3-0 win, sealing set points 25-21, 25-18, 25-19.
